Stephen Lang




Stephen is an American actor and playright. He is best known for his films Gettysburg, God and Generals, Avatar, Don't Breathe. D-Tox, Trixie, The Treatment, Save Me, From Mexico with Love, Gutshot Straight, Gridlocked, Band of Robbers, Pioneer, In the Blood, etc. He is currently filming Hostiles and Mortal Engines. Stephen has also worked for television serials such as Death of a Salesman, Crime Story, The Bronx is Burning, Terra Nova, In Plain Sight, Salem, Into The Badlands etc. He has won the Saturn Award for his role in Avatar, and some other nominations under his belt are Teen Choice Award, MTV Movie Award and Scream Award. His performances at Broadway earned him a Tony nominaton too.

Lang was born in New York city. His father Eugene Lang was a well-known entrepreneur and philanthopist, Jewish by faith. He had a Hungarian ancestry.  On the other hand, his mother was a Roman Catholic of German and Irish descent.

Any specific details of his political affiliation has not been reported anywhere. However, he had once diplayed his patriotic predisposition by his show "Beyond Glory", whose subject was based on American war heroes who had received Medal of Honor or were deployed in the Persian Gulf.
