John Voight with birthname as Jonathan Vincent Voight is an American actor.He was born on Dec 29,1983 in Yonkers,New York,USA to Barbara and Elmer Voight.He has two brothers Barry Voight and Wesley Voight.He went to Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains,New York.Later he completed his degree in arts from The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C after which he moved to New York to pursue his acting career.
He is been active in the industry since 1963.He is known for his role in Midnight Cowboy, Deliverance, Coming Home and The Champ in the late 1960s to 1980s.Again he gained prominence in the 1990s and 2000s through his films Heat,Mission:Impossible,Enemy of the State,The Rainmaker,Uprising and Pearl Harbor.
