She is the oldest child of teachers David and Judy Morrison. She was raised in Arlington Heights, IL, with a younger sister and brother. She is well known for her role in medical drama series House from 2004 to 2012. She acted as Emma Swanin ABC series Once Upon A Time from 2011 to 2017. She has also acted in How I met Your Mother, Star Trek in 2009 and Warrior.
