James Garner with birthname as James Scott Bumgarner was an American actor,producer and voice artist.He was born on Apr 7,1928 in Normon,Oklahoma,USA and died on July 19,2014 at the age of 86, due to heart attack caused by Coronary artery disease at Los Angeles,California,USA.Garner's mom died at his age of 5.Then his dad remarried for several times.
Garner at his age of 16,joined the United States Merchant Marine and left because of chronic seasickness. Then he joined in the California Army National Guard and then participated in the Korean War as a rifleman in the 5th Regiment Combat Team.He was wounded twice in the war,the second one was a friendly wound.He received Purple Heart Medal for his first wound and got the second one for his second wound after 32 years of the event.
Garner played a non-speaking role as persuaded by his friend in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial.
