Anton Yelchin




Anton was an American actor of Russian origin who was best known for his role of Pavel Chekov in three Star Trek films. Other movies that he was known for are Hearts in Atlantis, Taken, Huff, Trollhunters, Alpha Dog, Charlie Bartlett, Terminator Salvation, Fright Night, The Smurfs, Only Lovers Left Alive, Green Room and Thoroughbred. Anton has also worked in Television serials such as ER, Geppetto, Judging Army, The Practice, Without a Trace, Curb Your Enthusiasm, NYPD Blue, Jack, Criminal Minds, The Life and Times of Tin, and Supermansion. His phenomenal work won him the Young Artist Award and Boston Society of Film Critics Award. He has also earned nominations at the Washington DC Area Film Critics Association Award and Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards. Unfortunately, he died in a car accident in California, but his undying legacy continues to entertain people. 


Anton Yelchin  Religion

Yelchin was born in Leningrad, Russia which today is St. Petersburg. Although he is a Jewish, evidently any religious activities were prohibited in the erstwhile Soviet Union. His family moved to the United States in 1989. 

Anton Yelchin Political Views

Although his parents were third ranked pair team and had qualified for 1972 Winter Olympics, they were not permitted to leave USSR. Anton is reported saying that he isn't sure the reason for this was them being Jewish or of the KGB didn't want them to leave. This clearly shows that their family had detested the Soviet administration. 

Who is he/she dating?

Anton has been rumoured to be dating the model Alexandra Burman. Shockingly, he was even said to be homosexual. 

Anton Yelchin Hobbies

Anton's mother was a figure skating choreographer and his father was a coach for the same. However, Anton admitted that he wasn't good at that sports. Music was his passion as demonstrated by the fact that he once played for the punk band Hammerheads which has been disbanded now. Besides, he had enrolled in University of South California to study films. He was an ardent fan of acoustic music and 
some of his hobbies were playing chess, reading, playing piano and guitar.

He was ranked by Moviefone as among the 25 Hottest Actors under 25. 

Anton was named one of People Magazine's 100 Most Beautiful People in the World.

He was a great fan of Los Angeles Kings.

Yelchin is said to have died of blunt traumatic asphyxia in the accident of his Jeep Grand Cheeroke.

He was mentioned in the Memorian Section of 89th Academy Awards.
