Piper Perabo


Piper Perabo is an American actress. Her full name is Piper Lisa Perabo, and she was born in October 31st, 1976, in Dallas, Texas. Piper started acting in 1997, year in which she debuted with Single Spaced (1997), a short film. She is known for playing Annie Walker in the drama spy series Covert Affair, which was broadcasted from 2010 to 2014. Some of the films that gave her more fame were Cheaper per Dozen 1 and 2 (from 2003 and 2005) respectively. The Prestige (2006) and Looper (2012) also helped her to impulse her career.

Although she is such a helper of humanitarian causes, she hasn’t made any remarkable comments about her religious views; apparently she prefers to keep them to herself.  She is probably raised Catholic but isn’t into religion that much nowadays. The thing is that, at the end of the day, it really doesn’t matter, since she watches for the common good without being under the label of any religion.

Piper Perabo Political Views

Perabo hasn’t made any comments about her political position nor has declared herself in favor of any particular party. However, she openly supports LGBTIQ community rights and is a firm believer that in love stories, it doesn’t matter what genders are involved.   Piper has also helped to raise funds for Sirius refugees, and is part of The International Rescue Committee, according to her twitter account.

Who is she dating?

Perabo is currently in what it seems to be a long-lasting relationship with Stephen Kay, director and writer of films and TV shows. They engaged in 2013, and married in NYC, in July 26th, 2014. They don’t have children until now. There isn’t too much information about former relationships, though it’s more likely that she only had short romances in the past.

Piper Perabo Hobbies

What Piper loves most of all is reading, her favorite books are The Awakening, by Kate Chopin, Lady Chatterly’s Lover, by DH Lawrence, and Shantaram, by Gregory Davis Roberts. She also enjoys listening to music in her free time, but her especially favorite music genres are classical and jazz; Chopin’s “Nocturne in E minor” hits her in the feelings.

Piper is vegetarian.

She is daughter of Mary Charlotte, a physical therapist, and George Perabo, professor of poetry in Ocean Country College.

She moved to NYC before becoming an actress.

Perabo speaks fluent French.

Her father named her Piper because of a famous stage actress’s nickname.

Like aforementioned, she is genuinely advocated for LGBTIQ rights, and you could say that Human Rights in general.


She is part-owner of a prohibition themed restaurant/bar, Employees Only, locates in Manhattan, and of the restaurant Jack’s Wife Freda, located in the cosmopolitan neighborhood, Soho.
