1972. She is a British actress known for her work in The Good Wife as Kalinda
Sharma. She has appeared in other notable films like Bend It Like Beckham as
Pinky Bhamra, Yasmin as Yasmin Husseini
and A Mighty Heart as Asra Nomani. She made appearances in both TV and
films. Her role as Kalinda Sharma has earned her a Primetime Emmy Award in
2010, two Emmy nominations, One Golden Globe and three Screen Actors Guild
Award nominations. She made several guest appearances after leaving The Good
Wife in 2015 in the comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, crime series Shetland and
