Dane William DeHaan, the American actor, was born on 6th February 1986, at Pennsylvania, U.S. He is the son of Jeff DeHaan, a computer programmer, and Cynthia Boscia, an executive at Metlife. His childhood was described by the New York Times Magazine as a “very normal, super-supportive childhood.”
DeHaan started his stage life with the short-lived Broadway revival of the American Buffalo. His television debut was with a guest-appearance in the Law & Order Special Victims Unit in 2008, and had his film debut through the 2010 feature film Amigo. He rose to prominence with his performance in several movies including Chronicle (2012), The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), A Cure for Wellness (2016), and Valerian and the City of Thousand Planets (2017).
His latest films include the 17th century romance Tulip Fever, Vincent D’Onofrio’s western film The Kid, in which he portrays Billy the Kid and co-starring with Ethan Hawke. He has played his own fictional version in Imagine Dragon’s music video ‘I Bet My Life’. He is the brand ambassador of the Prada fashion house.
