Bella Heathcote


Isabella Heathcote, the Australian actress, was born on 27th May 1987, at Melbourne, Australia. She is the daughter of a lawyer. Heathcote received a Heath Ledger scholarship in 2010, two years after beginning her career in acting. 

Heathcote appeared in David Chase’s film Not Fade Away, in 2010. In 2011, she played Victoria Winters in Dark Shadows, starring opposite Johnny Depp, and Helena Bonham Carter. The film, in which she played dual role, both as the love interests of Johnny Depp, received a lot of critical appraise. Other notable films that she appeared include Fifty Shades Darker, Pride and Prejudice and the Zombies, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, and series including Neighbours, The Man in the High Castle, Strange Angel, Bloom, and Relic. She starred in The Killers’ music video for “Shot at the Night”.

Bella Heathcote is Christian by religion. However, she doesn’t seems to be much religious, but not an atheist. The Australian actress has not stated much regarding her spirituality and religious beliefs. But it is safe to assume that she is the kind of celebrity who is not so interested in sharing her views about religion out in the public.

Bella Heathcote is currently married to Richard Stampton, an architect. She had kept the news of her marriage for approximately one year for unknown reasons. It was in their first anniversary of marriage that she announced their marriage, by saying that “thank you for marrying me.”

Heathcote was previously engaged to Andrew Dominik, the Australian-New Zealand film director. They dated for almost seven years before getting engaged in the year 2017. It was during a flight travel that Dominik proposed Heathcote by getting down in his knees with a diamond ring in his hand. Later in September 2018, the couple got separated, which was later announce by Heathcote herself. 


Bella Heathcote Hobbies

Heathcote had once admitted that she has a hobby of collecting different types of skulls. She thinks that giving skull as a gift to loves ones is “a really good gift.” Also, she is so into music that she loves giving music themed gifts to someone she love. She has given a number of music themed gifts to her boyfriends earlier. 

Heathcote also likes to dance and listen to music, when she is alone. 


Interesting Facts

    • She was named as one of the 10 Actors to Watch, Breakthrough Performances of 2012, in the 20th edition of Hamptons International Film Festival. 

    • Heathcote’s mother died when she was 12 years old, and she had to take speech and drama lessons to get distracted from the shock. 

    • She once admitted that the dream person she wanted to work with is Meryl Streep.
