Jessica Michelle Chastain, the American actress and producer was born on 24th March, 1977, at California, U.S. She is the daughter of Jerri Renee Hastey and Michael Monasterio, the rock musician.
She dreamed of becoming an actor from the age of seven and used to put amateur shows with other children. Her professional stage debut was as Shakespeare’s Juliet, and film debut was in the drama Jolene (2008).
Later, Chastain did notable roles in movies including The Help, Zero Dark Thirty, Interstellar, The Martian, and It Chapter Two. She is the recipient of a Golden Globe Award and two Academy Award Nominations.
