Jason Bateman is an American actor. He is also a director and a producer. He was born on 14th January, 1969 in Rye, New York, United States. He is the son of American writer, producer and director, Kent Bateman and Victoria Elizabeth, a flight attendant. He is the younger brother of American actress, Justine Bateman. He stepped into his acting career on television with series such as Little House on the Prairie, Silver Spoons, and The Hogan Family in the early 1980s. He got well known for the character of Michael Bluth in the sitcom, Arrested Development for which he got a Satellite Award and a Golden Globe Award. He also starred in many other television shows and movies such as Ozark, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, The Outsider, Horrible Bosses, Teen Wolf Too, and The Family Fang, to name only a few of them.
