Idina Kim Menzel, the American actress, singer and songwriter was born on 30th May 1971 at Manhattan, New York. She is the daughter of Helene Goldberg, a therapist and Stuart Mentzel, a salesman.
She started her acting career with performances in the Broadway, which includes Rent, Wicked, and If/Then. She also did notable roles like Shelby Corcoran in Glee in the television series and Nancy Tremaine in Enchanted, the Disney live-action/animated film. She voiced Queen Elsa in Disney’s Frozen, its sequel, and many other short films and video games related to the same. Menzel won the Oscar award and Grammy award for the song “Let It Go” in Frozen.

Later in April 2015, Menzel started a relationship with actor Aaron Lohr. They were co-stars in the film adaptation of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical Rent. The duo appeared together at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April 2015. They got married in September 2017.
