Edward Norton is an American actor. Besides, he is also a filmmaker. He was born on 18th August, 1969 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. He is the son of lawyer Edward Mower Norton and teacher Lydia Robinson. He is the grandson of American businessman and the founder of the Rouse company, James Rouse. Norton came out as a filmmaker in the 2000s. He set his production company named Class 5 Films in 2003 and produced and directed films like The Painted Veil, Down in the Valley, and Keeping the Faith. He also starred in movies such as The Incredible Hulk, American History X, The Illusionist, Kingdom of Heaven, Rounders, and Birdman, to name only a few of them. Moreover, he is a recipient of many nominations and awards such as three Academy Award nominations and a Golden Globe Award.
