Alexander Johan Hjalmar Skarsgård, the Swedish actor was born on 25th August 1976, at Stockholm, Sweden. He is the son of actor Stellan Skarsgård and My Skarsgård, a physician.
He made his acting debut, when he was seven years old. After some years, he quitted acting, but returned after seven years. Later, he did several notable roles in television and films, and is best known for playing the character Brad “Iceman” Colbert in Generation Kill, the 2008 miniseries. His other works include Eric Northman in the television series True Blood (2008-2014), Perry Wright in the series Big Little Lies (2017-2019), and films including Melancholia (2011), and The Legend of Tarzan (2016). Skarsgård received awards including Primetime Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award, and Screen Actors Guild Award.
