Michael Fassbender, the Irish-German actor was born on 2nd April 1977 at Heidelberg, West Germany. He is the son of Josef Fassbender and Adele. Fassbender decided to be an actor in his teenage years itself and started to attend drama classes. His first screen debut was in the television miniseries Band of Brothers. His first notable movie character was in the 2007 movie 300. In 2011, he did the role of Magneto in Marvel comics X-Men: First Class and also in 2 other movies of the franchise.
Fassbender got several award nominations including BAFTA Award and Oscar for his various characters, including the title role in the Danny Boyle directed biopic, Steve Jobs (2015).
