Elena Anaya Gutierrez, is a Spanish actress born on 17th July 1975 in Palencia, Spain. She is the daughter of Elena, owner of a boarding house in Palencia and Juan Jose Anaya Gomez, an industrial engineer.
Anaya wanted to be an actress from a very young age and joined in a drama course by actor Manuel moron. In the year 1996, she debuted with the movie Africa, and later, she did supporting roles in various films. She did lead roles in The Skin I Live In, Van Helsing, Room in Rome and Wonder Woman. Anaya won Goya (Spanish Academy Awards) award for Best Actress for her role in The Skin I Live In.
