Ozzy Osbourne Divorce
John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne, also known as The Prince of Darkness, had an extremely successful career but a very rocky road to reach it. The superstar has been married twice, first with Thelma and then later with Sharon Arden.
Osbourne met his first wife Thelma (née Riley) at a nightclub in Birmingham called the Rum Runner, where she worked in 1971. They were married the same year they met and very soon had children named Jessica and Louis, while Osbourne adopted Thelma's son Elliot. Unfortunately things fell apart and couple got divorced in 1982 on an undisclosed date. Osbourne later referred to his first marriage as "a terrible mistake"; his drug and alcohol abuse, coupled with his frequent absences while touring with Black Sabbath, took their toll on his family life, with his children later lamenting the fact that he was not a good father.
Ozzy found love again when he married Sharon Arden on 4 July 1982. Soon the coupe also had children named Aimee (born 2 September 1983), Kelly (born 27 October 1984), and Jack (born 8 November 1985). They also took in family friend Robert Marcato after his mother died, but never legally adopted him. According to Sunday Times Rich list, Ozzy and his wife are one of the UK's richest couples. Unfortunately reports of their alleged divorce turned up in 2016, when it was rumoured that ozzy cheated on Sharon. It was also reported that in 1989 Ozzy was arrested after trying to strangle Sharon while he was under the influence of illicit substances. He spent several months in a mental health facility after the incident. Rumours are that Ozzy is currently living a single life after a divorce from his 33 years of marriage.

Ozzy Osbourne rose to fame in the 1970s as the frontman of the seminal heavy metal band Black Sabbath, delivering such iconic songs as "War Pigs," "Iron Man" and "Paranoid." He embarked on a successful solo career in 1979, earning attention for his outrageous public acts and drawing the ire of conservative groups. Osbourne later garnered a new legion of fans by starring with his family in the unlikely hit reality show The Osbournes.
After many years of alcohol and drug abuse, Osbourne has tried to remain as sober and as clean as possible in recent times. According to Black Sabbath Keyboardist Don Airey, Osbourne’s substance-abuse issues were the reasons for his exit from the band.
Osbourne occasionally acted, playing himself or a comparable rock star in such movies as Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002) and the 2016 remake of Ghostbusters. He also lent his voice to the animated feature Gnomeo & Juliet (2011) and its sequel, Sherlock Gnomes (2018).
