Dan Harmon and Erin McGathy Divorce
Call it surprising or shocking but some divorces are easier and smoother than marriages and relationships. The obvious and bashless announcement of these separations publicly, may make them look like smooth ones but the hurt is same and memories will always be formed and imprinted. Lastly, what matters is how both the spouses decide to remember it and choose the further course of action in the new phase of their relationship.
It was not very old fairy tale of Dan Harmon and Erin Mcgathy's wedding and American writer and producer, Dan Harmon and podcast queen Erin McGathy are already calling it quits. Since this being a celebrity wedding, speculations are tend to pop and the hearsay has it that Dan's mood swings and self deprecating behaviour is responsible whereas other grapevine has it that his old drinking habit has made him face the music.
Amidst all this pool of speculations, McGathy came forward and cleared the air by stating that the main reason of divorce between them was his new girlfriend Cody Heller. McGathy had been dating her 12 years older boyfriend Dan from past one year before getting engaged. The engagement happened on 28th December 2013 and after one year of engagement, the couple got hitched on 15th November, 2014. The whole wedding was a big pomp and show which happened on Los Angeles history museum and also Dan was quite vocal about it in public and social media. But fate had something else in the store for them and in October 2015, the couple decided to part their ways. McGathy announced it on Twitter also, “Sad to announce that @danharmon and I are divorcing. We ask that you respect our privacy as we discuss it openly on our respective podcasts.”
Dan too, had been vocal about his divorce on his podcast Harmontown. After filing the divorce, Dan started looking for some companion and that is when he met Cody Heller and since then he has been very open about her and has been posting some cute pics about their relationship on social media. Seems like that all is well if end is well and in this end the separated couple seems to be ok and the new couple seems to be happy with each other.
