Vanessa Redgrave who was born on Jan 30,1937 in Greenwich,London,England is an English stage,screen and TV actress.Born into the family of actors she also followed the same path.Her parents are actor Sir Michael Redgrave and actress Rachel Kempson.She started her career in 1958 in the film Behind the Mask and raised to a higher level in 1961 by playing Rosalind in As You Like It with the Royal Shakespeare Company and then went on to sign for more than 35 productions in London's West End and on Broadway.
In her long career she won one Academy Award,2 Emmy Awards,2 Golden Globes,2 Cannes Best Actress Awards,a Tony,a Screen Guild award,a Laurence Olivier Theater award and a BAFTA fellowship.
