Bardem was brought up as a Roman Catholic(Christian) in faith by his grandmother. He later became an atheist which was seemingly sparked by legalization of same-sex marriage in 2005 in Spain. The couple married in July of 2010 and has maintained a low profile since. They have 2 children together; a son born in 2011 and a daughter born in 2013.

Javier has done many things in life apart from acting and totally deserves his sport here. He has worked as a bouncer, a writer, a construction worker and even as a stripper. But those are not his hobbies. He was interested in becoming a painter but quit when he realised that he would never be a talented painter. He has said that he doesn't know how to do anything besides acting.
