Brenton Thwaites

Brenton Thwaites was born on 10th August 1989 in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. He is an Australian actor and came to fame by playing the role of Luke Gallagher the teen TV drama series from 2011, SLiDE. He is also known for playing Stu Anderson in the Australian TV soap opera Home and Away from 2011 to 2012. After moving to the United States he has worked in movies like Oculus from 2013, The Giver from 2014, Gods of Egypt from 2016 and his most recent and notable work has been playing the role of Henry Turner in the 2017 movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Brenton Thwaites Religion

There are not any instances in which Brenton has directly talked about his faith or religion. He also does not have and social media accounts which could give us any hints. He is, though, acting in a Christian film called An Interview with God in 2017 as a young journalist by the name of Paul Asher. If we were to take a guess, we'd say that he is Christian but we do not know for sure whether he is religious or not. 

Brenton Thwaites Political Views

Thwaites has not said anything remotely political so far. He likes to keep his personal life to himself and does not have any official social media accounts, either. We also couldn't pull up any information about him on him doing a bit of activism or something like actors generally do. We cannot even shoot a guess at the moment about his beliefs.

Who is he dating?

He is dating his Gold Coast girlfriend Chloe Pacey since 2015. They met in Australia when Thwaites was there filming the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, They had been roommates at the time they started dating. They also have a daughter together who was born in March of 2016. 

Brenton Thwaites Hobbies 

We know very little about his personal life and our guess is that he likes to keep it all personal. It hasn't been very long since he has been in Hollywood and we're waiting for him to act a lead role in a  future movie, he'll probably open up after that. Keep an eye on this page until then. 

Interesting Facts

Brenton wanted to become a firefighter or a policeman and was interested in movies involving these roles. He later got interested in filmmaking but at the age of 16 made his first performance in front of a live audience in the Shakespearean play Romeo and Juliet. 

 He studied acting at the Queensland University of Technology for three years and graduated in 2010. 

Heath Ledger and Hugh Jackman are his inspirations.
